like hell yeah, take your bubble baths. light those candles. moisturize your whole damn body. drink tea. take a four hour nap to recharge. put on cute socks & underwear. look at yourself in the mirror. think loving thoughts.
I was asking myself just now why they have “16 and pregnant” but not “16 and impregnated a girl” but I realized it would be pretty boring to watch a 16 year old boy play video games and go to school and live life as normal
packing my bags to go to AFRICA for the rest of the summer. i am so beyond excited and nervous and giddy and ready and not.
what a delightful space i’m in right now, almost not wanting to leave because i am so happy with my life and the folks in it.. and exploring the idea that nothing can ever be the same in two points in time. when i return, things will be different, and that’s ok. people come and go and fall in and out of love and make new friends or move away. savoring my current reality, while looking forward to a new one for the next couple months rock climbing in south africa everyday with my best buddies :’)
